Adobe has launched Premiere Mobile on Android with frame-accurate editing, multi-track timelines and up to 4K export.

Professional mobile editing is becoming a more realistic part of the creative workflow, especially for fast-turnaround social content.

What changed

Adobe announced Premiere Mobile for Android on October 9. The free app includes frame-accurate editing, a multi-track timeline, audio enhancement, templates, effects and up to 4K export. The company also describes optional paid upgrades for additional generative credits or storage.

Why it matters

For studios producing short campaigns and social content, the most useful test is whether footage can be cut, reviewed and handed off without losing control of timing or quality. Adobe says the Android app requires Android 13 or later and at least 5GB of RAM; teams should check device compatibility before changing a production workflow.
